Hey guys!

I had to be at work at 8:30 this morning, oh, but I didn't get to sleep until 4:45. Lovely. Luckily for me it was the shortest shift I had this week. Unluckily for me, I wore these shoes that I didn't have to sit down and tie (since that takes time and energy, energy I don't have at 8:00AM.) Never again will I wear those shoes to work! They killed my back and my feet!

Anyway, then I went and judged a theater competition at my old high school! I do this every year and it is such a blast! There was this guy named C and he was really really really good. I wanted to tie him and this other guy, A, in storytelling, but you have to rank them, no ties. So I put him second, because A had this one aspect to his storytelling that was just a smidgen better. (Storytelling is where you read a folk tale or childrens story book with voices and movements, etc.) So then I go to judge my next event, the finals of poetry. And this C guy was in there too. I got to give him first, he really deserved it. Unfortunately, I have no idea if he got to actually BE first, because during finals there is a panel of three judges, and I don't know if the other two judges liked him as much as I did. But there was this girl in there that I wanted to tie with him, A, and had to put second. This is the stressful part of theatre competition judging. There are always two people who are good enough to be first. Always. Its like, the law of drama or something, I don't know.

Then I went to LJ (not Livejournal, a town, lol) to shop, and got TWO $16 patterns for $0.99 cents each! THe sale ended today, I am so GLAD I went! They are both actual 1960s retro patterns, reworked for todays sizing. SO CUTE! When I get my next paycheck I'm buying the fabric to make them. I already have it picked out, its very cute. I AM SO EXCITED!

Today was an AWESOME day.

Oh, and I have tomorrow off, (technically today, since its after midnight) and I think Jason's little brother, possibly his mom, and I are going to go do something fun, so, yay social!

Oh, have any of you guys heard of Body Worlds II? It's been touring the country in science museums, and its in Houston right now. They peel back the skin off of bodies (yes real ones), and show how it works, brain, heart, reproduction, muscles, etc. Well, I dreamed that Jason's little brother and I went to see it, and the bodies came to life and we had to run away. LOL. So I saw him tonight and told him that, and told him I wanted to see it with him now. He's like "I dunno...what if it really happens?" lol. Crazy kid. My cousins all saw it and said it was really interesting so now I really really want to go.
