My old one was not safe and leaving me stranded and falling apart. So look!

That's: the steering wheel, cupholders/ac/radio/shift, front seat, back seat, trunk, front (sorry I couldn't figure out how to turn it right side up), back, and profile.

Also, I got tagged for this meme the other day, by both [info]thebucketwomanand [info]ayadec

First: If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new question.

Second: Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

The meme-age under here... )
Tag, you're it!

Snagged from Meagan, Allie, and Cat.

Ask me a question about one of my fanfictions. It can be absolutely anything in any fic and I will tell you the honest-to-god answer. Don’t hold back. Ask about major upcoming plot points if you want to. Whatever you ask, I have to answer truthfully.

Any of you guys fans of The Best Years? I know Katie and Cat watch it, but anyone else?

...am I the only person shipping Noah/Sam? I've been shipping them since the first time they were on screen together. Although I could maybe also ship Noah with Kathryn with proper provocation.

Talk to me!

It's shiny!

Sadly, it's just a meme and a funny from a Zef interview, because I don't have anything much to say. Ah well. Here you are.

A meme I really did for the first question. If its too long, please read that and the followup blog about it. *grin* )

Also, over at [info]bleumangroup  there is a link to a Zac Efron interview. In the introduction (before the actual interview part) it talks about HSM from the perspective of a jaded adult, and it totally made me laugh.

If you’re over the age of 12 and still have all your faculties intact, or if you’re simply a hardened preteen, then the HSM films may present themselves as the worst kind of teenage wish-fulfillment fantasy. They’re simple, sort of saccharine, and seem to exist in a kind of vacuum-packed, irony-free, alterna-reality that makes Saved by the Bell
look almost dystopic.

Just the last part made me choke in laughter. Because as dystopic-free as Saved By The Bell is, HSM manages to do just that.

Further into the interview, Zef admits to skateboarding in his house (which appears to be why he bought a modern house with concrete floors.)

So today I was in Payless looking at shoes. So my shoes were off, and my purse was sitting on the bench while I was trying shoes on. Well this lady comes in with a couple of kids and goes off to another aisle. Well one of the kids is maybe twenty months old, a boy. he walks over to me and grabs my purse! I said "Excuse me? No sir, that's mine." in a reprimanding voice, and took it back from him. He didn't want to let go and was holding on pretty strong, and he slapped me! I got it back and went to put my shoes back on. I got the one, and he picked up the other one and didn't want me to have that back either! Well I told him no again, and his mother came onto the aisle (as she had heard me), and was stopping him, and he tried to follow me out of the store!

FUNNIEST DAY EVER.

But then I accidentally shut my foot (wearing very soft slipper shoes no less) in the door. It hurt for quite a while.

On the plus side, my neck pain is nearly all gone! Yay!

Anyway, [info]accordingtomel  posted this meme.

Think about 5 subjects/things/traits that you associate with me and post them here. Then post this meme on your own journal, and see what your friends have to say about you.

And she picked me for this!
Pick 10 people and give them the "you make my day" award. If you're picked, you are charged with picking 10 of your own.

(I couldn't stop with 10.)

1. [info]jannika, for being amazing.
2. [info]malzadoll, for being there for me yesterday when I had awkward!moments. (There's more to that story now, actually, Mal.) And for awesome nearly three hour phone conversations.
3. [info]hannah_sheree, who is freaking awesome.
4. [info]thebucketwoman, who is my literary hero.
5. [info]ayadec, who is the one who is willing to talk about the serious stuff, which is great.
6. [info]sugah66, whose life is fascinating.
7. [info]accordingtomel, who I look up to.
8. [info]elvenfrolover05, whose job sounds like a lot of fun.

The first five people to comment to this post get to request a drabble featuring a character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their writing ability.

Please be gentle, and leave me with a character I know a fair amount. Please?

Kay, so upwards of two years ago, I worked at Kohl's. And the coolest thing they ever played on Kohl's Radio was "You Can Call Me Al", by Paul Simon. Which, okay, I like that song, but mostly it was the only thing they played that I liked. Well, today I was shopping for jeans, because all of my three pairs of jeans are at least three years old and I have a pair with holes in places you do NOT want holes, so I pretty much HAD to buy some. Especially since I wear jeans to work and school and well, you know JEANS. So I went in Kohl's, which while not successful in the jeans arena, YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT THEY WERE PLAYING!!!

"I Know" by Drake Bell.

I was psyched that they would play Drake, but sort of pissed that they never did when I WORKED THERE. You know?

Anyway, tonight in History class we learned about a man nicknamed "Sockless Jerry" and I have no idea what he did because once I heard his name my mind made the connection "Jerry=Spencer, Spencer=Crazy socks and Socko" and well, that was that. So I'm probably going to end up answering an essay question with something about iCarly on my exam next week. LOL.

More interview questions, today from [info]ayadec. These are really interesting, I think.

1. Pretend you are on the Texas tourism board/commission/agency. Design a week-long "introduction to Texas" tour. What would it include and why?

The itinerary )

That was a REALLY fun activity...it took me like three hours!

2. What is your favorite city that you've visited (outside of Texas)?
I think Boston definitely wins this category. History (which, if you couldn't tell from some of the above reccomendations, I LOVE), hot Boston accents, and the whole Irish and Italian American culture is just fun to observe. Although doing Magic Kingdom/Epcot/Universal/Universal Adventures in Orlando was a lot of fun too.

3. How did you become interested in figure skating? Can you also skate, or do you just like to watch?
I've just always thought it was a lot of fun to watch. I remember Tara Lipinski lived in the Houston area when I was a preteen, and that was so exciting for me. I watch figure skating, I watch figure skating movies, I always watch the figure skaters when I'm at the galleria. I can skate in the sense that I get on the ice and don't fall down, and really enjoy being there, but no, I'm no figure skater, I just love watching them.

4. What is the last book you read that really made you think?
The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. Not for class, but a few months ago. When the Time Traveller gets to the future, he has to make interesting choices about whether to help the people or leaving them to their own fate. It raises questions though, that apply to whatever time you are living in, time travel or not.

5. What did you want to do (as a career) when you were 10 years old, and what do you want to do now?
When I was ten I wanted to be a famous singer. Now I want to write novels, act in theatre, and be a stay at home mom. But I've got to find a man first for that last part, lol.

I really liked these questions!

How have you guys been?

From [info]malzadoll</lj>

1-(I'm not asking for the secret) What would make you tell your deepest, darkest secret?
I'm not sure. I keep other people's secrets to the grave, why wouldn't I keep my own?

2-If you could be transported into a fandom, who would you want to be and why?
Wow. That is a seriously hard question. Um. I guess either anyone who gets to kiss Shane Kippel. Ooh, maybe Amanda, because she's in the LWD-universe and really, as much as I love Spinner, I do not want to deal with all the Degrassi-drama. It comes with the territory, you know?

3-What's your favorite season and why?
Spring. Here it's like New England summer, so its hot but bearable and you can go swimming. Even though I can't swim I love playing in the water!

4-If you weren't named Jennifer, what would you want your name to be?
I've thought about this a LOT. Because everyone is named Jennifer and I'm not crazy about it. I thought about Karen, because I've always LOVED my mom's name, but do I want to have the same name as my mom? No. I also used to love the name Carole, but since my mom got remarried I have an aunt with that name so that's a no too. I decided on a name that I will use for one of my children in the future. It can go boy or girl so I don't have to worry about that whole "keep trying for a ___" thing (not that it matters when you want eight kids anyway, lol.) And its a very ethnic name, though its not from MY ethnicity, I just love it, and I love lots of ethnic sounding names. SO after I told you all that I would want to be Shalom.

5-Without being able to return, would you travel to the future/past and why? What would you miss the most if you do go?
I don't know if I'd rather go back to like the 1970's, because they are completely awesome or into the future. I think it's a pretty scary idea to go to the future because its unknown, but I am a huge fan of H.G. Well's "The Time Machine" so its not like I've never contemplated it! But if I did go, I would definitely miss all my friends and for going to the future I would miss the loss of being able to be different, because looking back on history, its obvious its just going to get less and less.

And from [info]author_abz</lj>

1. What is your favorite time of day as far as sun-up, midday, sundown times? Does it vary by season? Why?
I like sundown because it is calm but can also hold the excitement of being time to go out on the town if you so choose.

2. What's your favorite ethnic food? What is that food's origin?
Sushi. Which of course is Japanese. And French baguettes. And black olives, which I guess are Italian, lol. I'm sorry I couldn't pick just one!

3. If you could only participate in one fandom for the rest of ever - which would it be and why?
Wow. That is the hardest question EVER. It's obviously down to D&J, iCarly, LWD and Degrassi, but only one? I guess I'd have to pick Life With Derek.

4. What was your favorite movie growing up?
I didn't watch a lot of movies as a kid, but I always enjoyed The Princess Diaries and Remember The Titans in high school.

5. What is your ideal career?
A writer/Stay-at-home-mom who occasionally gets out of the house to be in musical theatre.

Ugh and I'm still feeling pretty awful. If anyone else had already asked me interview questions I must have overlooked them in making this post so it would be fine to send me a little reminder.

And everyone guessed five of the last six OTP's, so the only one that is left is

The wonderful [info]okvegascowgirl  just gifted me with a yearlong paid account subscription! Is she the sweetest or what? It was completely unexpected! Now I have no ads and I CAN EDIT MY RESPONSES!!! So many times I'm like "WAIT! ONE MORE THING!" and I have to either let it go or make another comment and NOW I don't have to anymore! I'm going to be going on a icon hunt over the next week or two cause I have room for 35 now!

And I'm sure the antibiotic is doing what its supposed to, getting rid of all the mucus, because I keep blowing my nose, but I have the worst sinus headache. So...I'm 'getting better', but its a painful recovery.

From my last entry, 9 of my ships were guessed, you can go back to see which ones if you want. If you want to still try the six remaining, try these:
3. superhuman, girl next door Kyle and Amanda from Kyle XY by [info]katnap414
9. video games, cancer Josh and Andy from Kyle XY by [info]katnap414
10. real people, parents of many, interracial, married Jon and Kate from Jon and Kate plus 8 by [info]thebucketwoman
12. from YA novel, tomboy, soccer, artist, boy overload
14. sorority girl, ultra smart guy, brought together by girls brother Casey and Max from Greek by [info]sugah66
15. sorority girl, silly hot guy, no real name. Casey and Cappie from Greek by [info]sugah66

Okay PEOPLE. I know based on fandoms you are in that [info]jannika[info]katnap414 , [info]snoozin81 , and [info]sugah66  should know 3, 9, 14 and 15 between the four of you. And I know I've discussed the YA novel in 12 with someone on my flist, though it escapes me now who. AND it might help you all to know that TLC (The Learning Channel) really loves the couple in 10. Will you try these please?

15 sorority girl, silly hot guy, no real name

Yes, one of the people in two different ships is the same person.

And this one! From [info]secret_plasures
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me!"
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...

[info]secret_plasures</lj> questions:
1. Have you ever seen snow? Yep! Read this entry from my first day of work: http://lizwinlove.livejournal.com/45490.html, also, it snowed on Christmas Eve into Christmas Day in 2004, leaving us with 8.5 inches! As hot as TX is in the summer, it can get pretty cold here from time to time, on very rare occasions.

2. What's something you've done that not a lot of people have? Had entire conversations with myself. I tried to think of something less embarrassing, but I couldn't. This works well for writers though, it helps you understand the characters better.

3. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? I tried to substitute chili seasoning for the seasoning packets in my Ramen noodles one time. Didn't work so well, actually. Was too heavy, plus the flavors don't mesh.

4. If you could meet any famous person, alive or dead, who would it be and why? Oh gosh, I don't know! Umm. Shane Kippel, cause he's hot and I can't decide between the eight or nine people I want to decide between.

5: Writing by hand or typing on computer? Typing. Writing by hand makes me think of taking notes since I'm laptopless, and taking notes stresses me out when I do it by hand because I can't get everything down.

Also, I had a reaction to the cough medicine last night. TMI ALERT. I barfed six times over night, and then I skipped bio this morning to make up for the missed sleep. Then I stayed in bed until time to come to my 5:40 class. I figured out it was the cough med and not the antibiotic because REALLY TMI ALERT, the vomit was the same neon yellow as the cough pill. My coughing got worse today, because I only took the first one and I could have had three doses since then. I can't decide if I want to deal with the vomiting again tonight and make the coughing better or not.

02 January 2009 @ 07:55 pm
I got Marti Venturi from Life With Derek from [info]_makeachange

1. Dirty Little Secret--All American Rejects.
Marti caught Derek and Casey sneaking down the stairs from Edwin's room once. They'd been up there because no one expected them there, and Edwin was visiting Mom in Toronto for the weekend. When Marti demanded an explanation, their lie that they expected a nine year old to buy, well, she didn't buy it. She got the truth out of them. That's HER Dirty Little Secret.

2. All For One--High School Musical 2 Soundtrack
She was really to little to get into the High School Musical thing, but Edwin and Casey made a Big Deal out of it. They even had an HSM party the night before HSM3 premiered in which they and all their friends came dressed as their favorite character and watched the first two movies. And no, she's not kidding. She wishes she was. Watching the first two before the third didn't seem like a huge deal. But making an Event of it, and dressing like characters? She wasn't sure about that. The worst part? Casey and Edwin and all their dancer friends were dancing along. When Edwin later landed a role as Chad in the SJST production of HSM, she knew why. He already knew all the dances.

3. Goodbye Love--Rent Soundtrack
If Casey and Edwin made a big deal of HSM, Casey and Emily and Lizzie made a big deal out of Rent. They all knew all the words and listened to the soundtrack all the time and then when Emily started dating Sheldon she tried to test him to see if he could sit through Rent. She got the shock of her life when he started singing along and announcing that his overacheiving cousin Stephanos had been in a production in the Toronto theater district. He knew every. single. word. He was hoarse by this song.

4. Last Train to Clarksville--The Monkees.
Nora has every Monkees cd/record/cassette ever produced. This song holds special significance to her because back when she and Dennis were married, he worked out of town more than he worked in town. Sometimes he would send her train tickets to meet him in whatever city he was in and the first time he sent them with a copy of this song. Nora didn't tell a lot of stories about her life with Dennis out of respect for George, but Casey had asked, and Marti, quite frankly, was quite partial to this particular one.

5. The Receiving End of It All--Streetlight Manifesto.
Lizzie and Derek both listened to this band, especially when they were in bad moods. Which, being teenagers happened at least twice a day. Especially this song, which is very conducive to wallowing when in said bad moods. In fact, if Marti hadn't had Edwin and Casey's whiny girl-guitar music wallow music to compare, she probably would have thought all teenagers considered this their wallowing theme song. She later guilitly realized it was an acquired trait, when she started to listen to it as a moody teen. But it's different with her! Really! And anyway it was better than Edwin and Casey's wallow music by far!

6. When You're Good To Mama--Queen Latifah as Mama Morton in Chicago from the Soundtrack.
When SJST put on a variety show, Emily performed this song. It was mostly a ploy to make Sheldon go all hot and bothered, but it became blackmail when Dimmy and Marti got their hands on Derek's video camera and taped her practicing. They threatened to show the school her cheesy practice moves if she didn't take them to a movie and Chuck E. Cheese. That was some good pizza.

7. Big, Blonde, and Beautiful--Queen Latifah as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray from the Soundtrack.
George and Edwin were fond of playing this song when Nora and Lizzie got onto them for not eating healthy. It was a spiteful thing, but it kept bets from forming.

8. Gonna Buy Me A Dog--The Monkees.
This was the only song on any of Nora's Monkees albums George would openly admit to liking--probably because the jokes in the song were as wacky as the ones he tried to make. Nevertheless, all the kids liked this song much better than they liked any of George's jokes.

9. Light My Candle--Roger and Meme--Rent Soundtrack.
Casey did this song with a male partner for one of her dance competitions. If you thought Derek messed with Lucy, you should have seen how jealous he was of Peter. He refused to leave Peter and Casey alone to work on the very sensual dance--regardless of how obviously gay Peter was. He even brought his boyfriend with him once to make Derek finally leave him alone, but Derek was convinced it was just some friend he paid to pretend. And yet, Derek still swore he didn't want Casey. Yeah, and Marti was the queen of England and none of this was going to ever become material when she grew up to become a novelist. Mmhmm.

10. All I Care About Is Love--Richard Gere as Billy Flynn in Chicago from the Soundtrack.
When Emily was entering a Chicago song into the SJST variety show, so was Ralph. He was trying to make a joke--Amanda had been trying to get him to try out for the school musical, and he wanted to show her how bad he would be, so he tried to prove he couldn't get something half heartedly prepared into the variety. He lost his bet and made it in. He conspired with Edwin to steal Derek's video camera so that he couldn't hold it over Ralph's head forever.

11. I Wanna Be Free--The Monkees.
Nora campaigned to have this song played at her and George's wedding reception. He adamantly refused, like the lead singer of George and the Jungle would have to, if he wanted to keep any shred of self-respect. When they asked the kids to vote, she was outvoted by every Venturi and Lizzie.

12. Fallen For You--Drake Bell
Edwin was a huge Drake Bell fan. He wasn't even embarrassed about it. When he put this song on a mix for Michelle and she got mad about it, he dumped her because anyone who wasn't a Drake fan wasn't worth dating.

13. Tapestry--Carole King
This song used to scare Marti when she was little. It didn't scare her anymore, but she doesn't exactly voluntarily listen to it either. She could never explain why. Edwin and Lizzie were big fans of the whole album, but whenever they were playing it, when she knew the song was coming up, she always put in earplugs and covered her head with her pillow. Derek found her that way one time and wanted to know why she was doing that, but she was embarrassed to be afraid of a song, especially when she couldn't explain why, so she made up a story that didn't make any sense, but he bought it anyway, thankfully.

14. Can't Take It--All American Rejects.
When Lizzie went on an internship in BC one summer Edwin played this song on repeat for a week. If Derek hadn't already moved out of the house, she's sure he would have stolen the cd after the first hour or so, but since he and Casey were gone, and George and Nora couldn't hear it from three floors below, Marti was subjected to it. She'd thought about stealing it too, but in order to actually manage such a feat, she suspected she'd have to deliver some sort of "get over it" speech that Derek or Casey (or Lizzie, if it wasn't about her), might have been able to do, but she would never manage. She used her iPod any time she was home and stayed over at Dimmy's for the last three days of it. She finally figured out he'd stopped playing it when she came home for a change of clothes and realized it was quite. Fearing he might have driven himself to something really bad (just because Edwin had dealt with severe depression earlier that year) she went upstairs to find Lizzie home, and making out with him. After Nora had been doing some serious cleaning upstairs and starting to sing along when she'd never heard the song before, she'd emailed Lizzie about it. Lizzie's solution was to use her weekend off to fly home. Marti had never been so happy to see her. She could finally sleep in her own bed again, instead of on the Davis's couch!

15. Make Me Smile--Chicago (the band).
Edwin's Chicago-fanship generally stayed an Edwin thing. But one day he'd been playing this at some study session and Derek--Derek!--proclaimed it cool. This gave Edwin permission to put it on roadtrip playlist (which he was in charge of making, since he was the least likely to get frustrated with the computer). Soon it became a family singalong sort of song.

16. Nowadays--Renee Zellweger as Roxie Hart in Chicago from the soundtrack.
Emily had been debating this song first before she picked that other one. But seeing as Sheldon wasn't the creepy type, that whole "you can even marry Harry, but mess around with Ike" didn't seem like much of a turn-on. Dimmy and Marti still got some great footage from it.

17. So Far Away--Carole King.
When Lizzie went back to her internship she made a playlist for Edwin with this song about one in every three. She wanted to drill it in his head that she didn't want to be away from him so he would not go all depressed again. He did her one even better. After a couple of weeks of that song he decided to take that whole "it would be so fine to see your face at my door" part of it literally and flew up to see her. Fortunately for Marti, this was the weekend George and Nora were out of town on a second honeymoon. Derek would have been proud of that party!

18. Roxie--Renee Zellweger as Roxie Hart in Chicago from the soundtrack.
After Emily and Ralph's Chicago stunts in the SJST variety show, Edwin decided to do "Razzle Dazzle" when he got to high school. Naturally it had become something of a MacDonald-Venturi and friends tradition. Marti couldn't let them down, so she did Roxie when it was her turn. George left in the middle of the performance, because he couldn't manage to watch his baby girl perform such a flirty song.

19. 25 or 6 to 4--Chicago (the band)
This was the other Chicago song Edwin was allowed to put on the playlist. Derek figured out after paying attention to the lyrics that it was about drugs, which he found incredibly hilarious for a band like Chicago. So he started playing it for Ralph and Sam. It became an even bigger joke when George got in on it (trying to relive the glory days of rock and roll with D-Rock again) and decided to help them write their own crazy drug-like song. It really helped that Ralph had a dentist appointment with laughing gas that week. they got some pretty wacky stuff from it.

20. Cooties--Hairspray soundtrack. (This song was cut from the movie, but in the play.)
Maybe because Dimmy was her best friend, but Marti was the only girl who didn't think boys had cooties before junior high. This meant she had to do a lot of begging, pleading, and wheedling with her friends when she wanted her guy friends to come along, and she was sort of relieved when Dimmy had to go to his grandmas house the week of her princess party.

What do you think?

And I have no idea if this is exactly what I'm supposed to do, but...this is how I interpreted it.

I got Edwin Venturi from [info]thebucketwoman

1. Vienna-The Fray.
This song is a withdrawn depressed Edwin when he loses Lizzie to another man in college and they do not see each other for years.

2. Getcha Head In The Game-HSM1
This is Edwin during Cheerleader Casey before he stands up to Derek

3. Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow--Carole King
Um, this connects to Edwin because it's off Carole King's Tapestry album, and when I first started writing LWD I wrote a Lizwin fic based off the Tapestry album and a sequel.

4. Forty Days--Streetlight Manifesto
Um okay...google the lyrics. Edwin is often not good enough for Derek, the singer is not good enough for God/heaven/whatever so...there's a correlation there.

5. Dance Inside--All American Rejects
College, Edwin's first time w/Lizzie, he's just poetic enough to identify with this song, which is about a couple's first time together.

6. This Christmastime--Corbin Bleu (from the Disney Channel Holiday CD)
This is a very romantic Christmas song. I imagine Edwin would slip it onto a romantic holiday cd for a special girl, but only if she was a big Corbin fan so it would seem like he did it for her, not because he liked Corbin too, lol.

7. Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?--Chicago
Some sort of rebellion against George's 80s music, but I think Edwin would really love Chicago.

8. Stick To The Status Quo--HSM1
All Edwin-centric plotlines seem to involve Ed either A)doing this and then realizing how stupid it is or B)not doing it and receiving a lot of flack for it.

9. Hakuna Matata--The Lion King
I'd like to think this would be a nice Lizwin theme song. Because they are always positive together.

10. It Takes Two--Hairspray, Zac Efron/Link Larkin
This is Edwin in Derek's School of Dating. Sort of. Kind of. With the whole arrogant sexist thing that doesn't really fit him.

11. I Feel The Earth Move--Carole King
Same as number 3.

12. What Time Is It?--HSM2
This list is all interconnected! This is the third HSM song, the second song about time, I dunno how many from a musical. Anyway. This is for when Edwin tries out for Chad when SJST does a production of HSM. Because that whole "Don't tell Derek I dance" thing is kind of "I don't dance" like but really...just look at Chad! And, um, Ed has that whole " I took dance lessons" thing. So yeah. I think with Casey's help he'll be trying out for musicals in no time. Especially after Derek's out of the house.

13. She Is--The Fray
I swear my playlist has more variety than this. Really. Edwin and Lizzie go to different colleges and it brings them together.

14. It's Only Time--Drake Bell
Edwin totally watches Drake and Josh every day after school with Marti and Lizzie. Casey and Derek join in sometimes. Casey pretends she doesn't want to make them change, and Derek pretends its only because Marti is watching, but the two of them are really totally jealous of how much hugging and kissing Drake and Josh get to do on their show when Casey and Derek get lame relationships with wierd people who don't make sense. Edwin and Lizzie wonder how come they are smart enough to have a games closet for that sort of thing but Derek and Casey aren't.

15. You Can't Stop The Beat--Hairspray
After Ed lands that role as Chad he tries out to be Link Larkin in Hairspray, and well, gets it! (I'm not the only one who believes Edwin in a musical, right?)

16. Love Heals--Rent Soundtrack bonus song (not from the movie or play)
This is sort of the whole Lizwin relationship, they make each other better.

17. I'll Be Home For Christmas--Drew Seeley (same cd as Corbin)
Sent to LIzzie by email during whats going on in song 13.

18. What You Own--Rent
I guess it was only a matter of time before he landed a role here, too, huh? Edwin does jaded well, though.

19. Smackwater Jack--Carole King
Same connection as 3 and 11.

20. Must Have Done Something Right--Relient K
Yay! I am so glad this one made it (and it just barely did!). There is an AMAZING Lizwin video to this song on youtube. I saw it just a few days into my Lizwin shipping and if I hadn't been shipping them before I would have after seeing this video. Go watch it!

I think I'm going to have to do one of these a day because I got SEVEN people within minutes of posting this entry! There better be some Beatles and Drake music on the shuffle when I get to Drake Parker, is all I'm saying.

Swiped this meme from [info]_makeachange

A. List one to ten fandoms (book series, television shows, movies) that you are fairly familiar with when it comes to the characters.
B. Post them in your journal.
C. People will comment, giving you a character from one of the fandoms (example: BHH-Vaughn Pearson).
D. You will then open iTunes or your other mp3 player and put it on shuffle. The first twenty songs will be yours to trace back to your character in any way possible. (lyrics sounding like characterization, title sounding like the character, the song actually being the title of an episode about the character or somehow being tied to the character) For example, if someone had Trevor (you know who I'm talking about) and "Should I Stay or Should I Go" comes up, well, you could tie that back by artist/band instead of lyrics. It doesn't matter as long as it is a way that makes you think of the character.

1. Life With Derek
2. Drake and Josh
3. Degrassi: TNG
4. iCarly
5. Wizards of Waverly Place
6. Greek
7. Boy Meets World
8. High School Musical (1, 2, 3)
9. Uglies series (except Extras, which I haven't read)
10. Confessions of a Shopaholic (books, not the dumb movie which isn't even out yet and makes Becky American, sheesh!)

I've been tired the last couple of days. Really shouldn't go shopping after work.

Yay! It's the last day!

It rained last night, so we went to this roofed arena to ride the horses this afternoon. It got cold last night. I only brought enough cold-weather clothes for one day, not two, so I got pretty cold today.

I've been having a lot of fun, but I'll be glad to get back to my own bed too!

Today was so much fun!

I slept for TWELVE hours last night.

I dreamed about this cute (but kinda young--18) guy at work.

We had taco soup for lunch! Supper was yummy too.

My uncle has a Mule. As in, kind of like a workhorse golf cart type thing. Sort of like what you may know as a Gator. Anyway, I got to drive that all around my uncle's Christmas tree farm and down the street his house is on, which was a lot of fun. And my little 8 year old cousin took me on a ride on it as well, which was an adventure!

AND I got to go HORSEBACK RIDING, because my aunt has horses. I even trotted a bit. Pics up later this week.

And then we played Scrabble and according to our scores we ended up in age order. Which was cool.

Hehe, last night I tried to plug my phones in, watch a movie, and turn on the air conditioner in the horse trailer and threw a breaker and then we did not have power after that. So, we didn't watch the movie after all. It was all good, but also funny because I forgot you can't be all like "lets use tons of power like in a house!"

We got up early this morning to come to my aunt and uncle's Christmas tree farm in Mississippi!

Um, happy stuff, seeing family! And getting presents (well...money to buy presents anyway).

Me and Jacey get to sleep in the horse trailer! (Its like got beds and stuff...not like the part the horses go in, the front part, baby RV thing.) (A thought: is my excitement at this just as wierd as the whole 'yay furniture assembly thing'?)

Uhmm...it's been a LONG day. Ten hours to get here. LOL. We ate at Cracker Barrel in Lafayette, LA. Um, no? LAFAY-FREAKING-ETTE. WE SHOULD BE EATING CAJUN FOOD YOU NUTTY PEOPLE!!! But it was yummy, so I can't complain too much.

I'm going to go watch a movie in the horse trailer and then go to sleep.

Tomorrow should be fun!

Good things for today:

When I went on my lunch break today the tv in the break room was tuned to "Trivial Pursuit: America Plays". It's where three contestants from each team play to get in the semifinals and then the two people in the semis play for the finals, where the final person tries to win so that the other people don't get his money. None of that really matters. What matters is that when the first team was announced, they were "Nathan, Jenn, and Spencer".

Think about that. Nathan, like Nathan Kress, Jenn like Jennette McCurdy, and Spencer, like Spencer Shay. It was all iCarly-fied! This made me giggle a lot.

THEN after that Jason's mom (who I work with now) was sacking groceries next to me, and she said something about "We'll fix it's wagon!" Well of course you guys know what THAT made me think of! So as I headed onto the parking lot to gather grocery carts, I was quoting/singing to myself that scene! "Well old cranky Josh, he's fixin Megan's wagon, but not literally!" And for some reason I thought to myself "my gosh that's insanely dirty!" Josh is fixing Megan's wagon? But not literally? I have been in the Schneiderverse fandom for TOO LONG! That should NOT be dirty. BUT IT IS! OMG!

Anyway, I have five days off! Yay!

OMG! Hannah! I got your card in the mail! It was very sweet! And the bracelet is so pretty, and the keychain is all Aussie-fied! You didn't have to send me that!
